Client Brief:  Located just around the corner from our office, this project was a supply-and-fit job for a local client looking to enhance their staircase with a bold, architectural statement. The brief called for a refined, glass balustrade that would balance privacy, light flow, and a warm design aesthetic.

Our Solution: BGS attended site to template the stair void, ensuring a precise fit within the existing staircase structure. We supplied and installed 17.5mm bronze-tinted toughened laminated glass, finished all round and custom-cut with dubbed corners for a softer, safer edge profile.

The bronze tint added richness and depth to the interior scheme, offering a contemporary alternative to clear glass while still allowing light to pass through. The handrail was fitted separately by others, with our glass balustrade acting as the clean-lined core of the installation.
